Captain Todd has been fishing in S.E. Alaska since 1972 both commercially and sport. He learned to fish from the best fishermen while living in Hoonah, Alaska. His Tlingit friends taught him how, when, and where to fish. When the other charter captains put their boats away for the winter, Capt. Todd can still be found fishing for Winter King Salmon commercially aboard the Beartrack. Captain Todd is often asked "Why should I fish with you" from perspective guests and his answer is always "experience!" Captain Todd holds a 100 ton master Coast Guard License and is a year round Alaska resident.
