8 Hour Halibut Fishing Details

Southeast Alaska offers some of the best fishing anywhere in the world. The waters of the Inside Passage are teeming with giant Halibut, Ling Cod, Rockfish and Red Snapper. Captain Todd has over 35 years of experience fishing in S.E. Alaska and the 42 ft. Beartrack is fully equipped to handle fishing in these rugged waters. Captain Todd's charter times are ³on the water² time. The run out to the fishing grounds is from 60 - 90 minutes depending on where we go, so actual fishing time is about 6 hours. Captain Todd provides coffee, soda, and bottled water on these charters, so bring a snack and lunch along. All bait, tackle, and gear is provided and Captain Todd will give you fish catching lessons if you are a novice at fishing - no experience necessary aboard the Beartrack! All fishing charters are also sightseeing charters and often we see whales, seal lions, seals, eagles, and other marine life. Prepare for adventure, dress in layers, and be sure to bring your camera! Fish On!
